Speaking to power

The other day, a parent at a school council in Switzerland reminded me how often power may be abused today.

I was struck by the number of spouses who report power abuses.

Beyond their family circle, young adults face uncertain environments.

They face toxicity.

They do not need an education that promotes conformity.

Blind obedience to rules.

The kind of corporate training they get should make them uncertainty-ready.

Toxicity-ready.

They need discernment.

Assertiveness.

The will and skill to speak to power.

Think about it.
